Taking Kendall’s UT Austin senior photos was my first shoot in over two months — thanks to the pandemic, of course. I was admittedly a little nervous to socialize with other humans again and take portraits for the first time in a while. But this session actually ended up being one of my favorite graduation shoots ever.
She seemed to be handling the fact that she spent her final semester of school at home, all things considered. Before the pandemic, she worked part-time at the Rec Center and was a student-teacher. I’m typically a little nervous to ask grads about their post-grad plans because I know for even me the future was so unknown, but Kendall has already accepted a position to work as a second-grade teacher at the elementary school she attended back home in Houston. Very cool!
We hit most of UT’s iconic grad photo spots during Kendall’s two-hour session. We even went a little over time, proving that you truly need at least an hour session to do your grad pics at UT’s huge campus — if not longer! And while most grad’s have opted for the classic champagne poses or incorporated Corona beer into their sessions, I have to say I truly appreciated Kendall bringing a White Claw with her.
