Cockrell School of Engineering seniors have no shortage of unique photo locations they can use to personalize their senior photo session at the University of Texas at Austin.
For Diana’s photo session, we started at the Pedestrian Bridge across Dean Keeton. It provides views of the infamous Clock Knot sculpture that serves as the beacon of the engineering department on campus. Next, we walked over to the Engineering Education and Research Center’s courtyard, one of the newer engineering school buildings. Its courtyard is a shaded green space that’s perfect for photos. The Ernest Cockrell Jr. Hall was our last engineering-specific location. It offers the perfect signage to stand in front of.
We visited the Goldsmith Hall Courtyard and its beautiful architecture gates. On our way to Main Mall, we stopped for photos in front of Battle Hall’s iconic “Blue Doors.” I took traditional cap and gown photos of Diana on the steps in front of the Tower. Lastly, Diana jumped in the Littlefield Fountain and popped champagne – a favorite tradition of UT Austin seniors.
In one hour of photography, we were able to hit many of UT Austin’s most popular photo spots while also adding some personal locations, too. This was partially because Diana chose to keep things simple and pick just one outfit for her senior photos. Because we didn’t stop for an outfit change, we had a lot more time for photos. If that’s a priority, I recommend choosing a neutral color dress like Diana did with her all-white ensemble.
